creature silhouettes

For this I wanted to create a 2D character or creature for the legacy project but I was not sure which one until I started drawing ideas down. I started with silhouettes of creatures and character which I was using to get ideas but realised I am better at drawing with pencil.

Here are some drawings I drew with pencil.

I realised I liked the drawing of the creature above so I used this one and added to it to make it better.

I then put this into photoshop and coloured it using the colours which I thought were appropriate for this project. Also I added a background to make it look better.

This is what my final piece looks like after I added the colour, background and the shadows.
